Step 1 – Open the Hik-Connect app.
Step 2 – Log in using your registered account. If you’re already logged in, opening the app will take you directly to the app dashboard.
Step 3 – Tap the three dots on the device you want to share.
Step 4 – Tap Share.
Step 5 – Select Share with User.
Step 6 – Enter the email address or phone number of the other account that will receive the device. Tap the email address form and enter the email address of the other account as the recipient of the device.
Step 7 – The email address you entered will automatically appear in the device’s recipient list. Tap the Next button.
Step 8 – Enter the number of CCTV cameras that other users can view. Set this as needed. Here, we’ve chosen to allow other users to see all CCTV cameras.
Tap the Next button.
Step 9 – Set permissions. Here, you can set other users’ access rights. For example, users can only view CCTV footage and cannot play back footage. Set these settings as needed.
If so, tap the OK button.
11. Open the Hik-Connect app on another phone. If the notification “You have 1 new sharing” appears, tap the View Now button and then tap Accept. The shared device will automatically appear on the dashboard.
Tap the left sign to return to the dashboard.
