How to Add/Embed a CCTV IP Camera to Your Website (No Coding and Port Forwarding Required)

Some of you may be wondering how to make your IP camera publicly accessible on a website. In this guide, I’ll explain how to display an IP camera on a website using third-party software. Using this software, you can instantly add or embed a camera into your website without any programming or networking skills. You also won’t need to configure port forwarding, which requires a public IP address on your network.

This guide is based on my personal experience without any hidden processes so you can put it into practice straight away.

Why Display Live CCTV Cameras on a Website?

Displaying your personal CCTV cameras on your website isn’t mandatory. It’s simply a way to make your CCTV cameras accessible to everyone.

Many governments and local authorities publish live CCTV camera feeds on their websites to provide public access to traffic, tourism, weather, and security-related information. If you plan to share CCTV cameras that are available for public viewing, displaying them on your website is one of the most practical and accessible solutions. By comparison, most built-in CCTV applications are designed primarily for private monitoring rather than public broadcasting.

What You Need Before Getting Started?

Before following the steps in this guide to add a CCTV camera to your website, make sure you have done the following:

1. A CCTV or IP Camera

The CCTV camera you use must support live streaming via protocols such as:

  • RTSP
  • RTMP
  • ONVIF
  • HLS

2. Internet Connection

Your camera must be connected to a stable internet connection in order to continuously broadcast live video on the website.

3. A Website

Of course, you’ll need a website to embed the code you get from the app. You can create a website using free website builder platforms, including:

  • Wix
  • Squarespace
  • Joomla Custom HTML websites
  • Blogger
  • WordPress

Embed an IP Camera on Your Website Without Coding or Port Forwarding

Using this method, you can embed an IP camera on your website without any coding or port forwarding.

Simply create a website with a free platform like Blogger or WordPress. Since this method doesn’t require port forwarding or a public IP address, it’s a simpler and more accessible solution for remotely displaying your IP camera online.

Embed IP Camera to Website Using AnyCam

Finally, we come to the main discussion of this article, namely how to add an IP camera to a website page without coding and understanding networks.

Hover over the IP camera view in AnyCam. Select Remote Viewing.

Paste the copied link into a web browser and push enter.

Then, a live view of the IP camera will appear. Select the HTML Code tab.

Copy the HTML code and paste it into the webpage.

This is how I successfully displayed my IP camera on a webpage. No coding or network setup skills required.

After the camera was successfully connected to the website, I conducted a test by accessing the website from a different network. The results showed that I was able to view the live camera feed on the website.

Is AnyCam Software Free To Use?

Yes, AnyCam is free to use.
