Franwell doesn’t actually have a native PC app. Currently, it only offers apps for Android and iOS phones. However, there’s another way to install the Franwell app on your PC: using an Android emulator. This emulator can run Android apps on your computer just like they would on your phone.
In this guide, I’ll use the MuMu Player emulator.
How to Install the Franwell CCTV App on a PC Using an Android Emulator?
I’ve installed the MuMu Player Android emulator on my PC. You can download the MuMu Player Android emulator from the official website by clicking this link.
Open MuMu Player and click the Play button.
Then open Play Store and type Franwell in the app search box. Choose Franwell. and click the Install button.
Click the open button.
Installing the Franwell app on a PC using an emulator is the same as installing apps on an Android phone. This is what the Franwell app looks like on the emulator.
How to Setup the Franwell CCTV Application on a PC?
After successfully installing the Franwell app on my PC using an Android emulator, the next step is to create an account. You can sign up using either your email address or your phone number. In this guide, I’ll show you how to register with an email address, as it’s the option I chose during the setup process.
Open the Franwell app.
Then, check the box next to “I have read and agree.” Click the “Read and Agree” button to proceed.
On the login page click Register.
To register an account using an email address, make sure you’re on the Email tab. If you’d like to register an account using a mobile phone number, please select the Phone Verification tab.
Select Region.

I chose North America. Click Confirm.
Enter your email address.
It turned out that the email address I was trying to use displayed a message saying “Email already exists,” even though I had never registered with the app before. After I tried logging in using my V380 Pro app account, it worked. So, it’s safe to conclude that the Franwell app and V380 Pro use the same database server.
I also tried logging in using the V380 Pro app on my PC. And it turns out the Franwell camera connected to the Franwell app also appears in the V380 Pro app.
So for those of you who want to open the Franwell camera on a PC, you can use the V380 Pro app version for PC.
