Once the v380 software file has been successfully downloaded, open the downloads folder on your PC. Double-tap the v380 file to begin the installation process. The first screen that appears will be the language selection screen.
Tap OK for the next process.
Then, select the installation file location. In this step, I chose a common location, C:\Program Files (X86)\v380. Then, click the Next button.
Check the box for Create a Desktop Shortcut. Click Next.
Next, just click the install button.
Installing the V380 software on a Windows PC doesn’t take long. Our calculations show the installation took less than 5 minutes. At the end of the installation, click the Finish button. If you want to launch the V380 software directly, check the “Launch V380” box.
How to Set Up and View Camera V380 Pro From V380 App on PC?
This is an important part of this guide, namely setting up and viewing the camera from the V380 software.
Basically, you don’t need any setup to use this software. However, you must have a registered account on the V380 and a connected camera. The Camera Shows Offline on PC
The V380 PC dashboard clearly displays the camera’s online and offline status. In the camera list, online cameras will appear in bold, while offline cameras will appear in faint color. You can fix an offline camera by resetting it or reconnecting to Wi-Fi.

How to Download and Install the V380 Pro App for Mac?
From what I know, the V380 app for PC is not available for MacOS users.
In creating this guide, I used both Windows and macOS. I can confirm that the V380 software for PC is not available for macOS. The download page lists it only for Windows. So, for those of you using macOS, you can only use the V380 on mobile devices.
Solution for MacOS users, you can use an Android emulator to view the V380 camera from a PC.
Update – September 12, 2026:
If you’re using a MacBook or iMac and want to view your camera’s live feed, you can simply install the IP Camera Viewer app from the Mac App Store. It lets you view your V380 Pro camera through ONVIF or RTSP. This is also a much easier option than trying to run the V380 Pro app on a Mac using an Android emulator.
Open the App Store on your Mac.
Search for “IP Camera Viewer” in the search box. Here’s what the app looks like in the App Store.
Click Get.
Click “Install.”
Once the app is installed, you can add a V380 Pro camera that supports ONVIF and RTSP. Below, I’ve written a guide on how to add a camera to the IP Camera Viewer app.
Open the IP Camera Viewer app.
You don’t need to create an account to use this app. On the dashboard page, click “Add Camera.”
I selected the automatic camera search.
So, as long as your laptop and CCTV camera are connected to the same network, the IP Camera Viewer app should automatically detect your camera. Once it shows up, just click on the detected camera, then enter the camera’s username and password. And that’s it—here’s the result!
IP Camera Viewer isn’t entirely free—you have to pay an annual subscription fee of about $28.30. You can subscribe directly through the app. For this guide, I’m using the free trial version, which gives me access to the app for one week.
Update – September 12, 2026:
If you’re using a Mac with macOS 10 or later and an M1 chip, you can download the V380 Pro app directly from the App Store. However, I’m using a 2012 MacBook Pro with an Intel processor, so I can’t install the app on my Mac.
Another way to view your V380 Pro camera on a PC or laptop is by using VLC. Simply enter the V380 Pro camera’s RTSP URL into VLC, and you’ll be able to view the live feed directly from the camera.
