How to Set Up RTSP/ONVIF on EZVIZ Camera Complete Guide

If you want to connect your EZVIZ camera to a Network Video Recorder (NVR), DVR, NAS, Home Assistant, VLC Media Player, or other third-party surveillance software, you need to enable RTSP and ONVIF on your EZVIZ camera. Most CCTV camera software for PC requires ONVIF. For example, if you want to connect your EZVIZ camera to AnyCam software, you need to enable ONVIF on the camera.

I wrote this guide based on my experience activating ONVIF on an EZVIZ camera.

What Are ONVIF?

ONVIF is an industry-standard protocol that allows security cameras from different manufacturers to work together. By enabling ONVIF, your EZVIZ cameras can communicate with compatible NVRs, video management software, and smart home systems of different brands.
