This guide explains the latest registration process for Hik-Connect in 2026. Whether you’re setting up your first security system or replacing an old account, the instructions below will help you complete the registration without confusion.
What Is Hik-Connect App?
Hik-Connect is Hikvision’s cloud-based remote management platform. It allows users to connect their security devices to the internet without complicated network configuration.
With a Hik-Connect account, you can:

Before You Register
I do the job of installing the Hik-Connect application almost every week on the phones of customers who have just installed Hikvision cameras.
Prepare the following:
- A valid email address or mobile phone number
- Internet connection
- Smartphone or computer
- Hik-Connect mobile app (recommended)
Using an email address is generally recommended because it makes password recovery easier. However, some customers asked me to register an account using their phone number. They remember phone numbers better than email addresses.
How to Register a Hik-Connect App Account?
Open the Hik-Connect App for the First Time
Open the Hik-Connect app. If you don’t have the Hik-Connect app, see how to download and install it.
On the welcome page, tap left until the start now button appears.
Tap the Start Now button.
If a window appears that says “This app might not run properly without the requested permissions,” tap Allow. Tap Allow.
Select a region. For example, Indonesia. Tap OK.
A message will appear stating “This service is available for your convenience.” Tap OK. In the next step, we’ll begin registering an account in the Hik-Connect app.
Register an Account in Hik-connect App by Email
Tap the Login/Register button.
On the Login page, tap Register.
Tap the Agree button.
Select Region. In this guide, we’ll choose Indonesia. Tap the checkmark in the top right corner.
On the Register page, users are asked to fill in registration data such as email address and password.
After the email and password are entered, tap the Get Security Code button.
Enter the Captcha as shown and tap the OK button in the top right corner.
Enter the 4-digit security code sent to your registered email address. Check your inbox. The security code should only be valid for 30 minutes.
Enter the security code and tap the Done button.
You’ll then be redirected to the Hik-Connect app dashboard. If the Fingerprint Authentication window appears, it will help improve account security. Enable it? Tap Cancel.
