New iCSee camera users often ask how many phones can be connected to a single camera? Can one iCSee camera be shared with others? The short answer is yes. The iCSee camera has a device sharing feature that can be used by all users. This feature allows users to share the camera with others so they can use it together. The camera displayed on your phone will also appear on the other person’s phone with the same display.
This guide I wrote will explain in detail the steps to use the device sharing feature on the iCSee camera.
Things You Need to Prepare to Share Your Camera with Others
First of course the other person already has the iCSee app.
Additionally, the person has already created an account in the app. To share the camera, the other person’s account must be logged into the main app, or the app to which the camera was initially connected.
How to Share Device iCSee Camera to Another User
Before sharing a camera with someone, make sure you know them. It’s also best to only share cameras installed in public spaces, such as your yard. Avoid sharing cameras installed in sensitive areas, such as inside your home, whenever possible. Below is my documentation when doing various cameras to other people’s phones.
Open the iCSee application.
Log in using your registered account. If you’re already logged in, opening the app will take you directly to the iCSee dashboard.

Tap the Share button on the CCTV camera.

Provide sharing permissions for recipients, such as allowing other users to only view the live CCTV view and not playback. Adjust as needed.

Then, select the device sharing method. The iCSee app offers three device sharing methods.
- Code Sharing
- Share QR Code
- Account Share.
In this manual, we chose the Share QR Code method because we felt it was easier. Once the QR code is generated, send it to the recipient to be scanned in the iCSee app.

Login to the iCSee app on another user’s phone.

Tap the “+” button to Add Device in the iCSee app.

Tap the OK button.

Select Add Device From Shared Device.

Scan the QR code that was previously sent.

Then Accept Sharing From appears, fill in the Name section (to name the camera) optionally as desired.
When finished, tap the OK button.
