Bardi camera users can delete and add cameras to the app an unlimited number of times. You don’t need a special app to delete cameras, as deleting Bardi cameras can be done directly from the app. I have a customer who frequently deletes and adds Bardi cameras. As a CCTV camera technician, I simply follow the customer’s instructions as long as it’s legal.
This guide I wrote can be used as a guide to safely remove your Bardi camera from the application.
Removed Bardi Camera From His App To Give To His Family
On one occasion, I asked the customer why he kept deleting the Bardi camera from his app, and his answer was surprising. He deleted the Bardi camera from the app because he wanted to give the camera to his family, but it wasn’t free.
He sold the camera.
Of course, this wasn’t illegal and was perfectly legal. So, when his brother visited and was intrigued by his Bardi camera, he immediately sold it. The reason was simple: his family didn’t want to travel far to buy their own Bardi camera.
How to Safely Remove Bardi Camera From the App?
If you are like my customer, deleting the camera and selling it to someone else, here are the steps to delete the Bardi camera from the app.
Delete Saved Recordings
If you want to resell your Bardi camera to someone else, before deleting it from the app, we recommend deleting all saved recordings. Deleting recordings on a Bardi camera is very easy; follow the instructions below.
Open the Bardi app.
Open the settings on the camera you want to delete recordings from.
Select the Memory Card Settings menu. Tap Format Memory Card to delete all video recordings stored on the camera.
Permanently Remove Bardi Camera From the App
When you delete Bardi camera from the app, it is permanently deleted, there is no temporary deletion.
Open your Bardi app.
Log in to the app using your registered account. If you’re already logged in, opening the Bardi app will take you directly to the dashboard.
Select one of the Bardi CCTV camera in the list that you want to delete.
A live view of the selected Bardi CCTV camera will then appear. Click the three dots in the top right corner to access Settings.
On the settings page, click the Erase Device button.
A confirmation window will appear, click the Delete Device and Information button to delete the Bardi Smart Home CCTV from the Bardi App.
If a second confirmation window appears, click the Confirm button. The Bardi CCTV camera will automatically disappear from the list of CCTV cameras in the Bardi app.
