How to share a device on the iCSee App – iCSee CCTV users can share their devices with other users using the app’s Share Device feature. Sharing a device allows the recipient to see a live view of the same CCTV camera.
Below we have written CCTV manuals on how to share the iCSee camera device to another user.
Step 1 – Open the iCSee application.
Step 2 – Log in using your registered account. If you’re already logged in, opening the app will take you directly to the iCSee dashboard.
Step 3 – Tap the Share button on the CCTV camera.
Step 4 – Provide sharing permissions for recipients, such as allowing other users to only view the live CCTV view and not playback. Adjust as needed.
Step 5 – Then, select the device sharing method. The iCSee app offers three device sharing methods.
- Code Sharing
- Share QR Code
- Account Share.
In this manual, we chose the Share QR Code method because we felt it was easier. Once the QR code is generated, send it to the recipient to be scanned in the iCSee app.
Step 6 – Login to the iCSee app on another user’s phone.
Step 7 – Tap the “+” button to Add Device in the iCSee app.
Step 8 – Tap the OK button.
Step 9 – Select Add Device From Shared Device.
Step 10 – Scan the QR code that was previously sent.
Step 11 – Then Accept Sharing From appears, fill in the Name section (to name the camera) optionally as desired.
When finished, tap the OK button.
The iCSee CCTV camera has been successfully shared and appears in other users’ apps. Be sure to share the iCSee camera device with people you know. Avoid sharing the iCSee CCTV camera with strangers to maintain privacy and prevent unwanted incidents.
