For those of you who want to be like me, you can use the EZVIZ application for PC. This application is free to download and install on PCs running Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and 11. Unfortunately, the EZVIZ app is not available for Mac OS users.
In this guide, I will explain how to use the EZVIZ app on a computer using Windows 11 because I also use that version of Windows.

How to Adding Devices to EZVIZ App on PC?
To add a device in the EZVIZ PC app, you must first log in with a registered account. If you don’t have an account, you can sign up for one. After logging in, you can access the Add Device feature. Cameras that are successfully added via the EZVIZ app on the PC will also automatically appear in the EZVIZ app on the smartphone.
Here’s how to add a device:
Connect the camera to the router. I’ll be adding an EZVIZ camera using a LAN connection. Open the app and click the Add button.
The Add Device window will display cameras detected on the same network. Click the plus sign next to the camera. Then, enter the password or verification code for the EZVIZ camera you want to add. You can find the verification code on the label attached to the camera body.
Then a window appears to create a new password. During this process, I usually just click the Cancel button to skip the process.
Click the Complete button to complete the process.
EZVIZ Camera Live View on PC
Users who have logged into the application using an account, then the camera previously connected to the account appears in the EZVIZ application on the PC. In the EZVIZ PC application, there are two ways to view live camera footage: My Camera and Device on LAN.
- My Camera – Displays all connected cameras in the EZVIZ account.
- Device on LAN – Displays a list of cameras and other devices connected to the LAN network.
Here’s how to view the live camera view:
My Camera
Click the arrow to expand and view the list of cameras.
Hover over one of the cameras and click the play button to see a live view. Then, enter the device’s password or verification code. Click OK to save the settings. This verification code only needs to be entered once, and the camera will immediately appear on the screen.
Device on LAN
Click the arrow to expand and display a list of devices connected to the same network.
A list of cameras will then appear. Click the play button to see a live view of the cameras. Enter your password and verification code, if required. The cameras will immediately appear on the screen.
How to Playback Camera in EZVIZ App on PC?
Make sure the camera has a memory card installed.
To playback camera recordings, the camera must have a memory card installed to serve as storage. Without a memory card, playback will not be possible unless you have Cloud Play as cloud storage.
Select the camera in My Camera or Device on LAN.
Click the play button.
Then select Gallery. A timeline will appear. If the camera is recording, a blue circle will appear below the timeline. You can swipe right or left to find the video you need.
How to Download Recorded Videos?
To download a recording, hover your cursor over the currently playing camera view. Click the camera icon to start recording the screen. A timer will then appear. Click the camera icon again to stop recording.
Downloaded videos can be seen in Menu > Local Album.
Is the EZVIZ app for PC free?
Yes, it’s free.
Users can install the EZVIZ app on their PC at any time without having to purchase a license or monthly subscription.
Is the EZVIZ App Available for MAC?
No.
However, to install the EZVIZ app on your Mac, you can use an Android emulator. This emulator will help your Mac run Android apps. Examples of Android emulators include Nox Player, BlueStacks, MeMu Player, and others.
