After I read carefully, it turns out that the common problem above is not the cause of the SADP Tool software not being able to be installed on my computer which uses Windows 11, but rather because the SADP Tool is no longer provided or has been discontinued by Hikvision.
The SADP Tool has not been updated since April 2026.
Hikvision recommends migrating to HiTools Delivery, a more advanced and user-friendly tool.
In addition to device discovery, network configuration, and password reset, HiTools Delivery also offers more advanced features such as mass upgrades and scenario-based configuration, with support for a wider range of device types.
How to Download and Install HiTools Delivery on Windows?
HiTools Delivery has advantages over SADP Tool. This application includes more menu options, such as an IP Scanner, Ping Tool, Update Package Search for firmware upgrades, and more. Below, I’ll explain how to download and install HiTools Delivery on Windows.
HiTools Delivery can also be used to unbind & reset passwords for CCTV cameras, DVRs, and Hikvision DVRs.

Download HiTools Delivery
To get the HiTools Delivery software installation file, click this link to go to the official download page. Then, select HiTools Delivery.
Click the Download button.
The download process will start automatically. The HiTools Delivery installation file is 105 MB in size. Wait for it to complete.
HiTools Delivery Installation
Open the Download folder on your computer.
Then double-click the downloaded HiTools Delivery installation file with the Zip extension. Double-click HiToolsDeleverySetup_EN.exe again.
Click Yes to confirm.
Select an installation location. As usual, for this step, I chose the HiTools Delivery installation location recommended by my computer, C:\Program Files\HiToolsDelivery. Don’t forget to check the box next to “I accept the License Agreement and Privacy Policy.” Click the “Next” button.
Wait for the installation process to complete 100%.
If the “Installed” page appears, it indicates the software has been successfully installed. Check the “Create Desktop Shortcut” box. If you want to open the software directly, check the “Run HiTools Delivery” box. Click the “Finish” button to complete the process.

Can I Install HiTools Delivery on macOS?
No, Hikvision does not provide HiTools Delivery for MacOS.
On the official download page, HiTools Delivery is only available for Windows. If you find this software outside of the official site, be wary of downloading it. It’s highly likely to contain viruses that could harm your PC.
Is HiTools Delivery Working the Same as SADP?
Yes.
HiTools Delivery is Hikvision’s latest device management software and a replacement for SADP. You can use HiTools Delivery to change a device’s IP address, change its password, and reset it.
