Many Eufy camera users encounter problems when trying to view their cameras through a web browser. That’s right—in addition to connecting directly to your phone via the app, you can view your Eufy camera on your laptop or PC using a web browser. This allows you to view the Eufy camera feed on a wider screen. However, many users are unable to access their Eufy cameras through a web browser. What’s causing this?
In this post, I’ll explain why the Eufy camera can’t be accessed via a web browser and how to fix it.
URL to Access the Eufy Camera from a Web Browser
It’s not based on the IP address; to access the Eufy camera from a web browser, there’s a specific URL you need to enter.
The URL: https://mysecurity.eufylife.com/

Once you open that URL, you’ll be redirected to the login page shown below. To access the dashboard, you can use the username (email) and password you previously created for your Eufy account in the app.
How I Access the Eufy Camera Live View From a Web Browser?
To ensure that this guide I’ve written is clear, I’ll walk you through the process of accessing the Eufy camera from a web browser, from start to finish. You can follow the step-by-step instructions I’ve provided.
Go to the URL https://mysecurity.eufylife.com/
Then I logged in using the username and password I had created in the Eufy app.
A window will appear asking for a security code.
How do I get the security code? It’s clearly stated in the window. You can get this security code by opening your profile settings in the Eufy app. Follow the steps below.
I tapped the Profile photo.
Then I selected the Settings > Security > Web Portal Access.
Enable Web Portal Access.

You’ll then see options for how long you can view the live camera feed from your web browser. Available options:
- 1 hours
- 8 hours
- 12 hours
- 24 hours
In my tests, there was no way to permanently enable the Eufy camera from a web browser. In this guide, I selected 1 hour. Then I clicked the “Generate a Safety PIN” button. I saw the Safety PIN appear on my phone’s screen. And this is the PIN I’ll enter in this window.
I entered my PIN and tapped the Confirm button.

Please wait a moment while the system connects the camera to your Eufy account, which you opened in your web browser. As a result, the Eufy camera can be accessed directly from a web browser.
Common Issues with Eufy Cameras That Cannot Be Viewed Directly From a Web Browser
If your Eufy camera still won’t display in your web browser after following the instructions above, here are some common issues and how to resolve them, based on my personal experience.
Failed to Establish Video Stream
If you see an error message such as “Failed to Establish Video Stream,” this may indicate that the browser you’re using is incompatible. I previously used Chrome and encountered this error message.
Once I switched to Firefox, the problem was immediately resolved.
Check the Camera in the App
Usually, many users aren’t careful enough.
Their Eufy cameras cannot be accessed via a web browser. It turns out that the camera also displays the message “Camera is Offline” in the app. So, if you want to access the camera via a web browser, make sure you can also access it through the app.
Update Your Web Browser
If the error message still appears, you may want to consider updating the web browser you’re using.
You can try updating Chrome.
After I updated Chrome on my laptop, I was finally able to access the Eufy camera using Chrome. The Chrome version usually matches the version of the laptop’s operating system. If the camera still won’t open after updating Chrome, it means the version of Chrome on your laptop is not supported.
Final Thoughts
So, the main reason why the Eufy camera can’t be accessed from a web browser is that the web browser doesn’t support it.
You should also check your camera in the app; if the Eufy camera is offline in the app, it won’t be accessible via the web browser. Eufy cameras are actually Wi-Fi cameras or smart cameras that connect directly to your phone. Therefore, it’s easier to access them via your phone than through other methods, such as using a web browser.
I hope this explanation I’ve written will be helpful. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
