Once everything is set up, connecting the V380 Pro to your Wi-Fi and phone is easy. And, as a note, make sure you’re using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as the V380 Pro doesn’t support 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Below is a complete guide to connecting the V380 Pro camera to WiFi and a mobile phone.
Open the V380 Pro app on your phone.
Then please log in to the application using the V380 Pro account that you created previously.
On the application dashboard page, you can click the + sign in the top right corner.
Tapping the “+ Add Camera” sign will bring up more options, and you’ll need to select Add Camera.
Scan the QR code affixed to the V380 CCTV camera body. If Bluetooth is active on your phone, the CCTV camera will be automatically detected in the V380 Pro app.
The phone’s Bluetooth is turned on, the V380 CCTV camera is automatically detected.
Then, if the Require Following Setting message appears, make sure the Enable Setting section in the Locations tab is in the On position (blue).
Tap the Confirm button.
Select the Wi-Fi name used for the CCTV camera. For example, we’ll use the Wi-Fi name Pasitive 4G_EXT (adjust it to the Wi-Fi name used at your location). It only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
Also enter the Wi-Fi password. Click the Confirm button.
Then the Wi-Fi connection process page to the V380 CCTV camera appears in the V380 Pro application.
Activating Device.
Added Successfully. Name the CCTV camera, for example, My Home. Then click the View Device button. You will be redirected to the CCTV camera’s live view page. If there is a Cloud subscription offer, simply click the button.
