
How to download, upgrade, and downgrade V380 camera firmware – The firmware on the V380 camera functions to run the CCTV features and also provides security for the V380 CCTV camera to prevent errors when accessed. Upgrading the V380 Pro camera firmware can be done directly from the V380 Pro app.

Attention! The V380 camera firmware is not available for manual download. Firmware can only be downloaded directly from the V380 app and the V380 Pro app via OTA (Over-The-Air) download. Upgraded V380 Pro camera firmware cannot be downgraded to the previous firmware.
Step 1 – Open the V380 Pro app.

Step 2 – Log in using your registered account. If you’re already logged in, you’ll automatically be redirected to the dashboard when you open the app.
Step 3 – Tap the three dots on the CCTV camera.

Step 4 – Tap Settings.

Step 5 – On the Settings menu page, select Firmware Version.

Step 6 – It will then display whether the latest firmware is available for the selected V380 CCTV camera. Click the Upgrade Immediately button to begin the V380 camera firmware upgrade process.


Step 7 – The V380 camera download and upgrade process page will then appear in the V380 Pro app. Wait for the process to complete, and the “The firmware has been upgraded successfully” page will appear.

Step 8 – The CCTV camera will reboot once the upgrade is complete. Click the Finish button and you will be redirected to the dashboard page.

To ensure the V380 camera’s firmware download and upgrade run smoothly and successfully, ensure the CCTV camera remains powered on during the process. Also, ensure a stable Wi-Fi connection at the location. Experience has shown that turning off the CCTV during the upgrade process can damage the system.
