In fact, you don’t need to update the V380 Pro’s firmware as long as the previous firmware still works properly. Generally, firmware updates are only for security purposes or bug fixes. However, in my experience, updating the V380 Pro’s firmware doesn’t affect any of the camera’s functions or add any new features. Typically, the camera retains the default functions and features from the time of purchase.
