Steps for Connecting a Camera to an NVR
First, plug in both the cameras and the NVR to a power source. Next, activate the Imou cameras through the Imou Life app on your smartphone. Once completed, connect the NVR to your router using a LAN cable.
Open the main menu on your NVR.
Log in using your username and password, or use a pattern lock.
Go to Camera > Add Devices. The Imou camera will be detected automatically, but the status may appear in red at first.
Tap the pencil icon to modify the camera parameters.
In the password field, enter the verification code or security code from the Imou camera.
Tap OK to save the settings. If the status turns green, the Imou camera has been successfully connected to the NVR N110W.
Common Problems and Troubleshooting
Camera Not Showing in NVR
Based on our own experience and testing, the main reason why Imou cameras do not appear on the NVR or are not detected is that the cameras are not on the same network.

Imou cameras have a security code. Users often enter the code incorrectly. If it hasn’t been changed, the security code, or password, can be found on a label attached to the camera.
