Smart cameras like the HiView C5W typically come with a variety of detection features, such as motion detection, sound detection, and pet detection. All of these features can be enabled manually as needed. Before purchasing a smart CCTV camera, you should identify your specific needs. Avoid buying a camera with an extensive range of features that you’ll rarely use—for example, the pet detection feature, which is rarely utilized.
However, in this post, I’ll enable and try to detect pets using the HiView C5W camera.
