Attention! Imou camera firmware is not available for manual download. Firmware can only be downloaded and upgraded directly through the Imou Life app via OTA (Over-The-Air). Imou CCTV cameras whose firmware has been upgraded cannot be downgraded.
Step 1 – Open the Imou Life app.
Step 2 – Log in using your registered account. If you’re already logged in, opening the app will take you directly to the Imou Life dashboard.
Step 3 – Tap the colon on the camera.
Step 4 – Pilih Device Details.
Step 5 – Tap on the camera name.
Step 6 – The Device Settings page will then appear. Tap Firmware to check if the latest firmware is available.
Step 7 – If the latest firmware is available, a page like the one below will appear. Tap the Update button to start the upgrade.
Step 8 – Then a notification will appear “the update may take several minutes. Please do not power off your device or disconnect the network during the updating process”.
Just tap the Start Upgrade button and wait for it to complete.
The Imou camera firmware upgrade process was successful. A successful firmware upgrade will indicate the Imou CCTV camera is using the latest firmware, indicated by the message “This is already the latest version.” Ensure a stable internet connection during the upgrade process.
