I finally figured out the format of the RTSP URL for HiLook cameras. I’ll use this RTSP URL to stream live video from HiLook cameras on media players like VLC. This allows me to view the live feed without having to use an NVR or DVR. Each camera manufacturer sets its own RTSP URL, so the RTSP URLs will vary by camera brand.

Can’t Unbind HiLook DVR Using SADP Tools

Support for the SADP Tool is no longer what it used to be when the software was first launched. Some operations that were previously possible in this software can no longer be performed, such as “unbind.” Unbind is the process of separating HiLook devices—such as NVRs, DVRs, and IP cameras—from a Hik-Connect account. Certain models of NVRs, DVRs, and IP cameras can no longer use the SADP Tool for unbind; this functionality has been moved to another application.
