While searching for apps, I found two: Cam720 and JOOAN. I found the download link for Cam720 on the official JOOAN website. As for the app named JOOAN, I found it by searching for “JOOAN” in the Play Store.
So which one should I use?
On the Play Store, Cam720 has been downloaded more than one million times, while the JOOAN app has only been downloaded 50,000 times. For security reasons, I chose the Cam720 app.

In order to use the app, I have to create an account.

Tap Register.
Select the country or region where you currently live. Click Confirm.
Enter your email address and create a password.
Click Next Step.
Next, check your email inbox. The Cam720 app has sent you a verification code. Enter the verification code in the field provided. Click the Register button.
Account creation is complete.
Adding or Connecting a JOOAN Camera to Your Phone Using the App
Open the Cam720 app. Usually, after successfully creating an account, you’ll be redirected to the app’s dashboard.
What you need to prepare for this process:
- A stable Wi-Fi network
- The JOOAN camera is working properly after being turned on
Click the “Add a Device” button.
Select “WiFi Connection.”
Click the “I have read and agree” button
Check the box next to “I hear DIDI from the device.” Click Nect Step.
Next, connect your phone to the hotspot created by the JOOAN CCTV camera. Click the “Go to Connect Device Hotspot” button.
Enter the Wi-Fi password used to connect to the camera. Click Next Step.
Please wait a moment. The process of connecting the camera to the Wi-Fi network will begin. During this process, make sure the camera and router are close to each other or in the same room so that the camera can connect to a stable Wi-Fi network.
If the process is successful, the camera’s live view will appear on your phone’s screen.
